If every planet teemed with life,
the multiverse one big beautiful bazaar,
billions of blue orbs everywhere,
star-travel commonplace, fast and cheap,
an interplanetary agora of sorts, would there still be war?

Yes – as long as there are humans it will continue
Thank you, Rising Hawk. I had a vision of every point of view having its own planet, and easy exodus to a better place was the alternative to war. Perhaps though you are right. —CC
Invariably, it seems, points-of-view have a burning need to “convert” others to their way of thinking. The human ego is a dreadful thing!
Yes on the ego. Perhaps it’s time for evolution to kick in again – or maybe it already has. —CC
Ego is a very bad word I refuse to use and usually if I see it in print I do not continue reading. If every planet teemed with life and we could travel to all of them we humans would not be bored and perhaps there would be no need for war. Also, I wonder if women were in charge would there still be war? Or just endless meetings?
Yes – that was how I saw it. If you don’t like it here – not enough room for your ism to thrive – then make claim to your own planet or galaxy and have it! I think women can be as aggressive as men, so I’m not sure if gender means much. Thanks for the good comment – much appreciated. —CC
