Never Heathered

I would feed from her palm,
fronds and seeds mostly,
respite - a chaw of Godly green

for the soul, to partake,
to lap the cold run
water

refreshing, the brighter suns,
the most forgotten days
I’ve known, yet

neatly abandoned,
an old house
on a dune

faded blue
sanded, salty by
water, it’s nature

its tears
reappear

You Really Don’t Know Me

Patter

I wish
you knew
how much
I missed
you here
in the rain
