A tear wells
– hangs –
falls
rides a cheekbone
down
to
the
chin
falls again
in mid-air
to rest finally
on soft pile
for a moment
then gone
in thin air
just a little bit
of salt
remains

A very sad image, described with knowledge and sympathy, I liked it, I always like it when someone skillfully manages to paint a fleeting moment we struggle often to make more permanent and significant.
