Self Organizing Galaxy
The Self Organizing Galaxy was a temporary art exhibit on a lower World Trade Centre building done by Joanna Hyde in 1984. She was a young artist at the time and had just graduated from Cooper Union when she completed the project. It is a relevant and truly amazing piece of Art. I have watched this video several times and I am in AWE of the dedication, skill and insight of Joanna as an Artist. What an accomplishment this is.

Hey Chagall, what time zone are you in? I just posted at Alphabet City at My Time 8:22pm — thinking it was NYC Time 7:22pm — and it came out 11:22pm! Could it be because Jill Joy is in California? Oh all this is so exciting!
No, that doesn’t make sense — about California — because they are four hours earlier, not later.
My posts are picking up the same timestamp behavior. I think it has to do with where the domain is hosted. Possible that server is +4 away from EST or is local and the server time is incorrect.
I am EST – it is now 7:53 PM or so.

At 9:11pm EST there were still 3,682 views. I watched segments again – you under the canvas with the 3 guys cutting the seam open, the beautiful sunlight of the days, so much to enjoy, such intense vibe emanating from a NYC of another time. Hey – do you still have the red sneakers? 🙂

The views should pass through to the YouTube count, though I am not sure if it’s enough just to touch the site – meaning if one watches just 10 seconds of it, does the counter go up? I don’t think so. Hence the trailer.
Odd – I don’t remember the heels as much as I do the sneakers and the sash – so you are guaranteed that the count will go up at least +1 by end of weekend. 🙂 –CC
