I hear the drumbeat of this one… it’s calling me.
The cultures of the indigenous peoples of North America are a wonderful area of study and a source of inspiration on many fronts. I am convinced that in at least 1 past life, I was one. 🙂 —CC
I’m sure that i was too. Have had dreams and visions and identify with the culture and philosophical beliefs. I do literally hear the drums and it seems you do too.
Interesting anecdote: I met someone years ago and very early on in our first conversation, this gentleman – quite sane mind you – out of nowhere and out of context, stated that he and I in a previous incarnation, were the last members of the Yana people of California. True story. FWIW. —CC
Most interesting! It wouldn’t surprise me at all if that was the case. Would be interested in hearing more. My personal vision took place up here in the Pacific Northwest. The experience is too long to put into a comment here but I might write about it in a poem someday. Meanwhile I’ll Google the Yana people. Hadn’t heard of them. So many good peoples were wiped out….
