Aqueous Interrupt

The text describes interception and subsequent sublimation,
not of people, but conifers of rainwater

Druthers

If my fate is to die by falling, let it be

Unsung Hero

She’s serving her country
since she’s young she has
shitty maintenance shifts
hours till dawn on the tarmac
guys give her crap all night
makes her long for home plus
she’s trying to finish up on-line
credits just shy of her bachelors
she was smart they all said
lately she’s been feeling
that way again with so much hope
for new starts going around
these days she prays more than wishes
she’ll find home again

before me, ere I could say
C’est moi she’d left for her flat
in the fourth arrondissement

or bar access to the existing.
Place them accordingly – you decide.

The Fork

I remember now – once as a child
I had devised a way to forget.
Did I really spring from that?

Peace

chagall-backdrop4.jpg

My numbers are all messed up.
You’ve denied me twelve times,
monthly really and three times I’ve risen,
leavened, refreshed. I’ve but seven left.

A Different Hue

My meaning shifts along side those
whom I am juxtaposed.
