Fair Dreamin’

Bi-planes above us under
low-blue ceiling, I wonder
if they’re from our time.

L-ego!

chagall-backdrop4.jpg

Endless possibility filled the moment
(which happened to be morning) sun
baked me dry and timeless so I became
one with the sky so far
above the ground I hover, delight
in my self now not at all
sad to lose it.

Not a parent nor a prince,
neither president or king,

Rite Of Way

The stones I leave at the gate

they’re probably there to say hello
to that day you went away. Now may I
put my blouse on?

The least we can do

La Fête

chagall-backdrop4.jpg

How creative the moment it constellates
like stars in time set off little flares
I’m awake I’m awake I’m alive!
against real sky in reel time.  Let’s!
you and I do jigs on the dance floor
wave our flames high in the air
We’re awake, we’re alive!
